Superlative Adjectives

Superlative Adjectives:

This class, since we had finished with comparative adjectives, we started with superlative adjectives, but what are superlative adjectives? A superlative adjective expresses the extreme or highest degree of a quality. We use a superlative adjective to describe the extreme quality of one thing in a group of things. Like comparative adjectives, superlative adjectives have 2 ways of being conjugated: For short adjectives we add '' est '' and for long adjectives we add '' most '', we also usually add 'the' at the beginning.

This are some pictures about some examples of shot verbs and long verbs:

For some 2-syllable adjectives, we can add ''est or ''most''.

For quiet we can add the quietest/most quiet
For clever we can add  the cleverest/most clever
For simple we can add the simplest/most simple

Since there are adjectives that can be conjugated in two ways, there are others that are irregular, for example:

GOOD The best
BAD The worse

This are some images about the classworks we did:

Reflection:
In this class I learned that superlative and comparative adjectives are very similar since the two are used to compare different things, animals or people, since I helped my classmates who did not understand the topic very well.
