Additions with Conjuctions

Imagen
In this activity I can improve my way of speaking and that all my ideas can be understood much better since Without conjunctions, you’d be forced to express every complex idea in a series of short, simplistic sentences: I like cooking. I like eating. I don’t like washing dishes afterward. To study this topic, the teacher shared a screen to observe about all aspects of this topic. Also, Conjunctions allow you to form complex, elegant sentences and avoid the choppiness of multiple short sentences. Make sure that the phrases joined by conjunctions are parallel (share the same structure. On the other hand, once we studied the subject, we began to carry out activities regarding it, for this the teacher sent us to groups to help us and support us if we had Some more doubts not to develop the group activity The attributes that I developed were: inquirers and thinkers since when studying a new topic we have to investigate in case of having any doubts in order to understand the topic perfectly.

Explanatory Paragraph:

Imagen
For this class, what we did was something very curious and interesting, the teacher told us that during these classes we were going to develop a paragraph about a disease that we chose from the ones we were seeing. I also learned that the paragraph is a text that cannot exceed six lines. It begins with an indentation called a greater space located at the left margin of each paragraph, although some writers only place it at the beginning, with a capital letter and ends in a full stop. When the author of the paragraph considers that all ideas or sentences are complete, it can be finished. Paragraphs can be narrative, argumentative, expository, descriptive, enumeration or contrast, among others. The paragraph should revolve around a main idea and should always end with a conclusion or message. I was informed and instructed, a thinker, open-minded and a good communicator, optimizing my self-management, thinking, communication and critical thinking skills.

During these two readings, we worked in groups since in this way we could collaborate more as a group and thus understand the vast majority of aspects in case of having any questions. When we read we take turns so that we can all practice our reading and thus also improve our English. These works serve to take into account our knowledge acquired in class, and thus demonstrate that if we have been paying attention, as we demonstrated with the previous topic, the tag questions. Reflection. In this class I developed the attributes of supportive and good cominators since at the time of reading we were able to improve our language in English and help our classmates in case they have any difficulty with pronunciation, in addition, reading awakens our mind, educates us It is the most important practice for study, it gives us knowledge, it gives us pleasure, it challenges us, it enriches us, but fundamentally it makes us better people.  To begin with this topic, which we review during several classes, in order to fully master it and use it in our everyday language when speaking English. The first thing we did was review a word that the teacher had prepared for us to start studying this simple topic, and make our language in English better understood. After this, we continued with 3 classworks in which we could our newly learned knowledge to better study this same. The best thing is that in each classwork we did, the activities were very different, putting many different cases on us, causing us to understand this topic much better so that we can apply it in our daily talk. Finally, we carried out a brief but interesting activity where we would demonstrate all the knowledge that we have acquired about this topic throughout every day practicing it. This final activity consisted of dividing ourselves into different working groups, with 4 members each to develop a dialogue using the tag questions, for this the teacher ...

Unit Intro.

Imagen
To start this class, we first started talking a little about what it is to be healthy both mentally and physically to be always happy and thus avoid possible illnesses, since that is what today's class was going to be about. After talking a bit about being healthy, we went on to do the activity that the teacher had prepared for us. This was the unit intro, where we talked a bit about how to prevent different diseases and then we went on to do the individual exercises of the unit intro. Reflection: In this class I learned different ways or habits to avoid diseases, since with all this virus, we have to be more aware about the things that we do not know where they come from and what possible bacteria could have. In this class I developed the attributes of: inquirers, reflective and good communicators since all of these helped me when expressing my ideas when sharing different ways to avoid diseases.

Simple Past and Past Continuos

Imagen
To begin this class, the teacher shared a screen of a blank blackboard with us, where we would put information about each of these topics and their characteristics. First we start by remembering about the simple past and how it is formed and used, then we continue with the past continous and finally we carry out two activities related to these topics. Past continous: Is used to show that an ongoing past action was happening at a specific moment of interruption, or that two ongoing actions were happening at the same time. The past continuous is formed using was/were + present participle. Questions are indicated by inverting the subject and was/were. Negatives are made with not. Use the past continuous to indicate that a longer action in the past was interrupted. The interruption is usually a shorter action in the simple past.  Simple Past: Is used to show that a completed action took place at a specific time in the past or that an action already happend....
